Update, 22nd April 2020, 8:00 am:

In light of the recent government announcement and with the new guidelines set around Alert Level 3, Deluxe Diner New Plymouth will endevour to be open some time around 11th May so you can order online or possibly via contactless Kerbside Pick Up and Delivery too. Please keep an eye on DeluxeDiner.co.nz from early may for updates on progress. We appreciate your understanding at this time.

As our customers you can feel reassured that when we are operating again, we will be following all requirements set by the government for our industry, in accordance to Alert Level 3, and we will have strict health & safety protocols in place. See the following measures we are taking to ensure the well-being of our customers and staff.

Our Customer’s Needs:

We are trying to achieve the best outcome with our new direction and want you to be able to order online with confidence knowing that we are adhering to physical distancing guidelines and following regimented hygiene protocols; from our staff, thru to pick up, to our kitchens and the wider store and to our food preparation and handling.

As a responsible business, the well-being of our customers and staff is always our top priority.

Update, 16th March 2020,10.47:

In light of the current COVID-19 situation, we request that if you have recently traveled to a Country of Concern identified by the New Zealand Government, or have potentially come into contact with the virus, or have the virus, we ask that you do not enter our premises.

We will monitor further developments and follow the advice of the Ministry of Health.

Hand sanitizers are also available for our customers to use.

However, with a constantly evolving risk, we suggest that we all keep an eye on the Ministry of Health public health updates:

People who have recently traveled to countries of concern, been in close contact with someone recently returned from any of the ‘countries of concern’, or have been in contact with people diagnosed with the virus please exercise your duty of care for the community at large
